Skin TreatmentWe're all very conscious about how our skin looks, particularly on our face, so it's no surprise that many people come to our clinic looking for answers to their skin problems. Sometimes it can be as straightforward as dietary adjustment; eliminating any intolerances and giving up processed food in preference to whole, fresh foods. Other times deficiencies or hormonal imbalances need to be corrected with herbs and nutrients. Often major eliminatory channels are clogged leading to impurities coming up to the skin's surface for release.

Eczema, acne and psoriasis

Skin conditions can be triggered by a number of different factors and they will vary in each person. Individually tailored cleansing and diet programs are important to meet your specific needs. Eczema, acne and psoriasis can be debilitating, especially in severe cases and we understand the delicate nature of your condition.

Key issues we look at are; allergies, food intolerances, acid/alkaline balance, hormonal regulation, bowel regularity and toxicity, candida and other bacterial overgrowths. Diet and nutrition are also important aspects of our program.

The liver and skin connection

The liver/skin connection is so often overlooked. As the liver is the primary way of keeping toxins out of the bloodstream its health is of paramount importance to the skin. When the liver is overloaded, inflamed or damaged the skin takes the responsibility of eliminating those toxins.

 

Toxic colon

The colon, being the bodies waste disposal system needs to be eliminating regularly and completely. If not 'autointoxication' can occur. This is the process of self-poisoning, happening when waste products are not removed from the body, instead being reabsorbed back into the bloodstream and out through the skin.

Constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory conditions and bacterial overgrowths can all contribute to the colon becoming weakened and unable to function effectively.

You may also be experiencing other symptoms; lack of energy, tiredness, irritability, sinus problems, frequent illnesses.
